Random Acts of Kindness Week~Feb. 16-19
Save the Date~Family Academic Night
Family Academic Night is just around the corner and we are changing things up this year.
Family Academic Night will be a 2-day event! The first night, Tuesday, March 16 from 5:30-6:30 p.m., our staff will have a drive thru fairy tale land for parents/students to see from their vehicle. At the end of the drive thru route, each student will go home with a bag full of materials, goodies and a STEM project to complete on night 2. If you can't pick up your bag that night, will be sending bags home with in person students on Wednesday, March 17 or you may stop by the office from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17 to pick up a bag.
Students are also encouraged to dress up on Tuesday, March 16 as their favorite fairy tale character.
The second night, will be on Wednesday, March 17 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Families will participate from home virtually. Families will be tasked with creating a STEM project based on a fairy tale read aloud. Don't worry, our wonderful teachers will be leading the activity through zoom.
Families who attend night 2 will have the chance to win some fabulous prizes!

Next week’s Mission is: Click here to access the KHC Mission Experience and complete all Daily Missions for Week 1
- Register by downloading the FREE Kids Heart Challenge App or click here to access our school’s page.
- Earn your first Online Donation by Monday, February 22nd to be entered into a raffle drawing for a MYSTERY PRIZE!!
We have set a goal to raise $1,500 to fight heart disease and stroke and we hope you will help us.
Any student who raises $100 will get to choose one person (Principal Freeman, VP Kleeberg, or Coach Mena) to toss a water balloon at!!! Thank you for working together to help solve the mission and save lives!
What does your donation support? Well, all the work that the American Heart Association does to fight heart disease and stroke. Hypertension is one way. Uncontrolled hypertension (blood pressure) robs us of precious time with loved ones. About 1 in 2 Americans have hypertension – half of those uncontrolled. High blood pressure can be controlled, in fact it is the most easily modifiable risk factor and the AHA is on it! Our Target BP program ensures that every patient that walks into a medical clinic gets the best treatment plan. Our CheckChangeControl program helps those with uncontrolled hypertension to get it into control. The AHA is working to expand these programs so that all Americans have access to these proven life-saving treatments. Your donation helps make that happen! Who in your life has high blood pressure? Share this link with them!
