Pets on School Property:
As the beautiful spring weather approaches, many of our Cooper families enjoy walking to and from school together. While we do love seeing our students' furry friends, it is an important time to remind everyone of the district policy which prevents us from allowing pets on school property. If you decide to bring your dog while walking your child to school, please stop when you reach the school property and allow your child to continue onto school property on his/her own. The entry doors for our students can be observed from Hilltop, Birchwood North, and Greentree Road. Remember, even the sweetest dogs and youngest pups have the potential to cause fear in children or accidentally injure a child. We appreciate your understanding that we must adhere to the policy.
Cherry Hill Township Presents:
STEM Challenges for students in grades 2-5! STEM challenges will take place at the Croft Farm Center on Mondays from 4/19-5/24. Please click here for registration information.
Reminder: 2021-2022 Registration Is Ongoing
If you have any friends, family or neighbors with children entering kindergarten, or switching to CHPS from another school for next year, please let them know that registration for the 2021-2022 school year is underway! Because of COVID restrictions, parents are asked to register their children online. Full details are available on our website.

In our social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons we talked about managing our strong emotions and/or feelings. Before reacting to a situation, it is important to make sure we understand which feelings we are having and why we are experiencing those feelings. We have learned we need to “Stop, Name our feelings, and Calm down” before we react. Ask your children about some strategies we discussed to calm down.
