Dear MHS Parents and Guardians,

This summer has flown by and the 2021-2022 academic year begins in a week and a half! The first day of school is September 1st for all students, Grades 9-12. I want especially to welcome the MHS Class of 2022 (you've made it), and our Freshmen and Transfer students (you're going to love MHS!).

Our "Back to School" mailing went out today- please look for it to arrive in mailboxes mid-next week. In the mailing you'll find important details regarding the start of school and paperwork that should be returned to the Main Office.

All Freshmen and Transfer students are invited to attend Open House on Thursday, August 26th starting at 12noon in the MHS Auditorium. Freshmen and Transfer students will receive their schedules, learn how to read and follow their schedules, hear from a panel of upperclass students about the ins and outs of MHS, and have an opportunity to identify their classrooms throughout the building. We hope that you'll join us.

Please note that we're also running a Flu Clinic at the QMS and JJ along with Open House, open to all students and families ages 9 and over. If you're interested, check out the flyer below for more information.

We're looking forward to a great school year; until then, enjoy the remaining days of summer!

Best regards,

Mary Watkins
