Checking Out Students After Testing

If you have a KVA student coming on campus to take their STAAR test, and you would like for them to go back home after they are finished, please note that you must sign your student out. After your child has finished their test, they will be able to call or text you to come to get them. (Please ensure that they know your phone number.) Once you arrive at WCJH, please park and come to the door to scan our QR code to complete our checkout form and to show your ID to our receptionist.

If you will not be picking up your KVA student, they will stay on campus in our computer lab until the final bell.

Please note that this only applies to KVA students. Face-to-face learners will resume their normal on-campus class schedule after the testing window closes. If your student is a face-to-face student, checking them out after testing for reasons other than illness or an appointment will result in an unexcused absence.

No Tutorials During STAAR Testing

Please note that there will be no before-school tutorials on our STAAR testing days - May 11th, May 12th, May 13th, and May 14th.

Any students who are dropped before school will need to wait at the front of the school for the doors to open at 8:30 am.

Closed Campus During STAAR Testing

Due to testing regulations, our campus will be closed to visitors and volunteers on STAAR testing days. Any drop-offs made will be held until after the testing window closes.
