War of 1812
By Luke Davis
The war of 1812 started with two countries fighting. Great Britain and France. The United States of America tried to stay out of it, but with those two countries, it was impossible. This war started because France didn't want to have great Britain trade with the United States of America, and Great Britain didn't want France to trade with the USA because they would gain money.
The British sufferd more than 2,000 casualties, or people who were injured or killed. The U.S.A only suffred 71 casualties. The U.S.A and Great Britan had been fighting for 2 years.
