An important message from Dr. McTague
Good Afternoon Warrior Family,
I hope this message finds you and your family well. As you are aware, we have made the decision to remain in our Digital/Remote Learning Model through the end of the First Semester. We are targeting the beginning of our Second Semester on January 20 to transition to our Hybrid Learning Model if public health conditions allow. If we are unable to transition on January 20 we will target February 1 as our alternate hybrid return date.
We are currently updating our MCHS Second Semester 2021 Hybrid Learning Plan. We will share the updated plan with our school community next Wednesday. We will also ask our students and families to indicate if they will not return to in-person hybrid instruction. This will be the only time students and families will need to fill out the Digital/Remote Learning Waiver for the entire second semester. However, students who select the remote alternative will have the ability to opt into in-person hybrid instruction at defined times throughout the semester.
Again, we will send both the updated MCHS Second Semester 2021 Hybrid Learning Plan and Digital/Remote Learning Waiver next Wednesday.
Thank you for your continued patience, flexibility, and support as we take the next steps to safely bring our students back to our buildings so they can reconnect with their teachers, our school community, and each other.
WE ARE WARRIORS AND WE ARE ONE!

Buenas tardes, familia guerrera,

MCHS offers free meals for students
Our food services department started a new curbside meal program on Dec. 7 to provide free food to all students age 18 and younger.
Meal bags are available Monday through Friday at McHenry West or McHenry East Campus, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Families can pick up meals for all of their students, including those attending school in District 15 or District 36.
Meal bags will include a complete breakfast and lunch. The program is part of the USDA free food service for school-age students. Families should fill out the form by Sunday evening for the week ahead.
