LHS Counselor Newsletter
Winter Issue (November-December 2021)
Reflection and Finishing Strong
Students and Parents,
The holiday season is upon us and it causes us to reflect on all the special people and things in our lives. Now more than ever, acknowledging and developing a mindset of gratitude means expressing appreciation for all parts of life both big and small and establishing meaningful relationships with family and friends. We hope you get to spend some time with family and friends and to relax.
Although we are all excited for the holiday season, we must remember to finish the semester strong by turning in all work, attending tutorials, and doing well on those final exams in December. This is also a good time to look at your spring schedules in Skyward and if there are any schedule changes that need to be made, please contact your counselor via email, counselor request Google form, or in-person before the winter break. The LHS counselors wish everyone a safe and wonderful holiday season.
*LISD closes during Thanksgiving break. Thanksgiving break does not count in the 2 wks to process. Transcripts requested after Thanksgiving break for a December 1st deadline do not meet the 2 wks window
