Athens

1. The ancient agora- makes the most fitting start to your sightseeing. costs ($18) covers two day's admission to Acropolis hill sites.

2. Anafiotika- the athens is remarkably low-rise. Nestled above plaka, Athen's center, and bustling monastiraki, the old Bazaar, Anafiotika seems far removed.

3. Ly cabettus- Twilight is the best time to venture up this abrupt peak. It is 745 ft. (277m). It costs ($8.20).

Thessaloniki

1. Archaeological- Roman baths is north of the church of Agios Dimitrios.2. Monuments churches- Galerian Arch (Kamara) erected shortly before 305 A.D.3. Museums- Archaeology museum: near the white tower and fairgrounds.

Chania

1. Old town chania- It has about 60,000 residents, making it the second largest city in crete, but also one of the most beautiful of crete.2. Cityscape- the city of Chania can be divide in two parts: the old town and the modern city which is the larger one.3. The Venetian Era- the venetian rule was in itially strict and oppressive but slowly the relations between the two parts improved.
