News from Strode College

A hive of activity here! Check out our June 2021 news!

A huge welcome to our new Strode College students

Our Pre-Induction Day could not have gone better and we have captured some memories for you to enjoy here!

The sun was shining, music played, new friends were made. It was so good to meet everyone - we hope you had a FAB time. Students had an exceptional experience and the feedback has been really positive.

Whilst we appreciate that not everyone could attend, we had 582 attendees over the 2 days! Thank you for coming and see you in September.

If you haven't applied yet, it's not too late to come to Strode. Take a look at our courses.

Our summer project is underway

Contractor Melhuish and Saunders are on site and major transformation is underway on campus with the building of our new £300,000 state of the art hospital ward and professional laboratory.

The real-life environment of the mock hospital ward complete with birthing room, nursing station and dispensary, will allow T Level Health students to gain a greater understanding of the behaviours, facilities and procedures used in modern healthcare settings.

The purpose-built laboratory will give T Level Science students the opportunity to build practical and employability skills used for roles such as a Laboratory Technician or Food Technician.

We are so excited that these fantastic facilities will be ready for students joining us on the new Health and Science T Levels this September.
