Monday and Tuesday of this week, January 23 and 24 are Teacher Workdays. No school for students on these two days and then we will start the new semester on Wednesday. Come and get your new schedule on Wednesday, January 25 by reporting to homeroom first thing in the morning on Wednesday. Wildcat Community, we want to celebrate Ms. Henderson, the NHHS Teacher Of the Year for 2023-2024! Ms. Henderson teachers Math and is a leader for our RISE Program! Ms. Henderson is an incredible advocate for students and staff! Congratulations Ms. Henderson!

Wildcats, support your winter sports teams by purchasing a 50/50 raffle ticket. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $20. See basketball players, cheerleaders, wrestlers or swimmers to purchase. We are competing against Laney to see which school can earn bragging rights and raise the most money for their respective teams. Each school will have their own cash pot. The losing school’s athletic director will have to dress in the opposing school’s gear at the Laney vs. Hanover game in Brogden Hall on January 31st. A winner from each school will be drawn at halftime of the boys game. The winners will receive half of their school’s pot and the other ½ will go to support each school’s winter sports teams. Our current pot is at $6,000 and growing. We are trailing Laney, so please consider purchasing tickets and let’s keep Coach Sampson wearing Black and Orange!
