Remember when students are learning from home they should be active participants - sitting up, at a table or desk if possible, and participating in discussion
Mrs. Ewald’s and Mrs. Fowler’s Reading and Language Arts
MATH
Course 2 students (2nd, 4th, 10th periods) will be reviewing on Monday for our Summative on Ratios and Proportional Reasoning on Tuesday/Wednesday. Thursday we will begin Chapter 2 on Percents.
REVEAL math students (3rd & 8th periods) will be starting Module 2 on Solving Percent Problems. Our focus in the early going will be on Percent of Change and Tax
SOCIAL STUDIES
In Social Studies we will be learning about the colonies. We will spend most of the week creating a travel brochure for one of the three colonial regions. The travel brochure will include information about the economy, geography, and colonists in that region.
SCIENCE
We will continue our study of human organ systems this week by finishing our information chart and spending some time learning about the specifics of each system. A large focus will be on how the systems work together to help us maintain homeostasis.
