YouTube- My Channel/Creator Studio
This week I spent my lunch hours helping the 4th grade students publish the first WHS news show. Please see your email for more information! After editing our show using iMovie, a great tool to encourage student voice, I published the video on my YouTube channel. YouTube is a great resource for us teachers and I thought I would highlight some of the great ways to use it in the classroom.
Teachers can use their sd44 log-in to publish videos/projects made by the class in the creator studio. You can send parents links to the projects so they can view what is happening in the classroom.
Teachers can create playlists to organize videos and music.
Here are some links to get you started. Please let me know if you have any questions!

WHS Staff Spotlight:
This is Cara Savide's 3rd year at WHS. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, shopping, spending time with her husband and puppies.
Some of Cara's favorites include:
Song-Die a Happy Man- Thomas Rhett
Food- Moussaka- Greek Eggplant Dish
Movie-"Singing in the Rain because I had the biggest crush on Gene Kelly. I also love the story and all of the singing and dancing."
Cara is inspired by her mom. "... She is the kindest and most patient person I know. She would do anything for anyone and always finds the good in someone. She was also a wonderful teacher. Former students still see her in Lombard and god bless her she still remembers all of their names. ."
Finally, Cara believes, "That all students have the ability to learn but it is up to us as teachers to meet their diverse needs. ."
