Mission, Philosophy, and Schoolwide Learning Expectations Survey

To ensure that our mission statement, philosophy, and Schoolwide Learning Expectations are fully integrated into the lived reality of the school, we invite all shareholders to be involved in the annual review and revision of these documents. Your input is integral to our success. Please take a few moments to provide your feedback. We are asking each family to complete this survey by Friday, March 10th, and we look forward to sharing the results with all of you. Thank you for your support!

Spotlight on STREAM

During robotics this week, students were asked to create musical instruments that they could play. Some students decided to create guitars and others created pianos using various distance and color sensors that when programed would play different chords or notes. In the future, students will be using these sensors to collect various data points in order to analyze them while learning about more advanced robotic concepts.

Music in Our Schools Month

The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) recognizes this March as the 38th annual Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM). This March, music educators and music students across the country will be celebrating music education in their school communities demonstrating how the theme “Music Is All of Us” resonates with them. We will highlight our music program in the coming weeks in the Saintly Times.

Since 1985, MIOSM has been observed as an annual month-long celebrations when schools and communities celebrate music in their local schools and the educators who dedicate themselves to bring music into the lives of students every day.

Lifeskill of the Week

Our Life Skill for this week will focus on "Patience: Wait calmly for someone or something." We all have moments where our patience grows thin-either with others, ourselves, or even with God's plan. According to Scripture, patience is a virtue, a fruit of the Holy Spirit and a sign of someone who trusts in God. Through the practice of patience as a life skill, we deepen our Catholic faith.
