Report Card Grading Submission Reminders
There were a few things we wanted to clarify before report grades are submitted:
- ELAR Grades: consist of phonics and writing and SS
- Reading grades: consist of read aloud/close read
Teachers Grades are due October 4th, however please e-mail me your grades before submitting soI can review them before submission. Please ensure that if a scholar is failing that communication has been made before final report cards. Also the failing grade should not be below a 65.
Please reference the Grading policy one pager in the google doc for more guidance.
Great Job 1st and 4th Grade on Scholar Celebration Assembly!
Survey Says?
Morning and Dismissal Carline AND Scholar Safety
Advantage: Please ensure that you get to your location on time and that scholars are in the classrooms READING like all other scholars until carline begins. They must still be in compliance with the rest o f the school as we are getting ready for dismissal.
Lastly, we need everyone to be alert at all times. Parents can not be at the front doors, especially, when releasing scholars. Mrs. Salazar had a very scary situation with someone coming to the school and taking her son and taking him out of the building. We are so glad he is safe, BUT it happened so quick and it only takes you being distracted for a few seconds. So we want to ensure that all scholars are safely put into the right hands, and the way to do that, is to stick to OUR systems.
