About Ty Edwards
Ty Edwards will be completing his Master's in Cultural Studies this spring. He is a first generation student, first male in his family to get a degree and the second overall in his extended family to receive a college degree behind his aunt Sheila Edwards Lange who is the Vice Provost for Diversity and Minority Affairs at the University of Washington. He is currently a Residential Advisor, Director of Student Advocacy in ASUWB, Founder and Chair of the Universal Leadership Conference, Founder of the Husky Pantry, Founder of Husky Packs, and Founder of the International Student Facilitators here at UW Bothell. He is UW Bothell's first Fulbright recipient and will be going to the University of British Columbia next fall to do research on International Student Development and Retention.
