Team Penn
May 15 - 19
You made it!
The week you never thought would never come...the last week of school! You've worked really hard to get to this point. Give it one last push. Make sure that there is structure for the last four days, so that students will know where the boundaries are. If you don't have a plan for them, remember that they always have one!
Good News!
Penn was chosen as one of three schools to have the Bike Club next year! If you are interested in being a teacher sponsor, please see me before the summer. The Bike Club will meet once a week beginning in September. The lessons and bikes are provided for up to 22 students.
LiveSchool
Although a nice idea, after using LiveSchool for the past few weeks, there are quite a few kinks in the referral system that cannot be resolved, such as a an extreme delay in receiving the referral in our inbox. For the last week of school, we will return to paper referrals. Please make sure that you send the referral to the office immediately when you make a request to the office.

- Be sure to hand students their report cards before they leave on the last day.
- Parents may come for the party without a volunteer application. If they stay all day, a volunteer application should be completed and approved.
Mayfest
Last year, the choir did a fantastic job at Mayfest! We hope that you can join us on Sunday, May 21st at 1:00p.m. as the children sing. And if you haven't heard Ms. Ellington sing, you're in for a treat. Stick around until her band sings. You will be more than impressed!
