Community Participation Survey
Dear Parent/Guardian,
I invite you to participate in completing a survey concerning The Charles School and community engagement. I invite you to lend your voice to better understand your perceptions of community engagement at The Charles School to gauge what is going well and what can be improved. We still need your participation!
You should have received an email that looks like the one below earlier this month. Please register your account and give consent. There are more detailed directions below that you can view and download. You will be notified via email of your students' results when they are randomly sampled.
This free testing program will allow us to test more students to stay ahead of any COVID spikes in the coming weeks and months.
We continue to be in constant communication with Columbus City Schools transportation department. We have been attempting to communicate with you or your student in as timely a manner as possible when we are informed of route changes. We have seen little change in the last few days with the possible exception of yesterday. We have scheduled a meeting with Transportation in order to determine a better plan moving forward.
If your student is waiting to be picked up in the morning, and their bus does not come, call 614-365-5074. If the route is not covered, CCS will attempt to get your student to school still.
We know that this situation is very challenging to you and your family. Please know that we share in this. Frequently we are at the school until many hours after the school day is over trying to work on the problem.
Until they fix their driver shortage, we continue to partner with you to ensure that your student gets home in a timely and safe manner.
