Reminders

Mask Update

As an update, on Tuesday, Feb15, the PRSD School Committee voted to follow DESE's updated guidance regarding the wearing of masks in school buildings starting Monday, February 28th. In most instances, this makes mask wearing optional in the building. Per federal requirements, anyone on a bus must still wear a mask, and mask wearing is still required in various COVID scenarios which you can read here.

IMPORTANT - please discuss your family's preference and expectations with your students. As mask wearing is now a choice and no longer district policy, wearing of masks in the classroom will not be enforced by staff, other than the specific COVID scenarios cited above. Part of the guidance includes that all students and staff will be required to wear masks when visiting the Health Offices for any medical reasons. To help with this all students should have a clean mask in their bag to use as needed during the day. Thank you for your help with this.
