Mustangs Making a Mark Donations
Wristbands are on sale today through Friday through your Advisory class. $10 will get you a goodie every day next week. In addition to your individual treat, the advisory class that donates the most money will win a breakfast party! All money goes to City Care Night Shelter which provides housing for individuals, families, and pets dealing with homelessness in OKC.
Cheyenne is raising money specifically for the new Night Shelter that City Care added in 2021. "Our shelter offers men, women, families and pets a safe place of respite, where they can rest easy tonight, and begin the courageous work of addressing the root causes of their homeless experience and transitioning back into stable housing.”
Click here to donate (login with portal account or click the donate button) or bring $10 to advisory.

Unified Partners for Special Olympics (for Students)
The Cheyenne Mustangs Special Olympics team is looking for Unified Partners to compete and support our Olympians. Special Olympics is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences. Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team! It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. We are looking for students that would like to train with our Olympians and compete with them in Bocce, Cornhole, Tennis, and Track!
We practice during Mustang Mania! Pick up you application to become a Unified Partner outside room 415! Contact Mrs. Shepherd if you have any questions!

Student IDs Required to Be Worn Each Day
Students are required to wear their student ID each and every day. All students have received their initial ID for the year. Students that do not have their ID are expected to print a sticker to wear for the day. This should only be used in emergency situations. Students who have printed too many stickers will be expected to serve lunch detention and to purchase another ID for $5.
This is one of the district's many safe guards for our schools. IDs provide a quick glance of students that belong to our school, their grade level, and which parts of the building they should be in during the day.
Dress Code Reminders
The Edmond Public Schools Board of Education dress code policy. For reference - it is available by clicking here.
Please be sure your child is dressed according to the diagram labled appropriate. We will address dress code when students violate the policy. This could mean students putting on clothing we have in our clothing collection to meet the dress code. The goal is to return to class as soon as possible while meeting the dress code expectations.
