Critical Thinking
I created each equation by taking how much the company charges then multiply that by how many hours are used by the school then add the catering/setup fee.
There will be a point when both of the companies have the same cost and its at $55,570
If the school had a budget of $1000 for food catering then we would get 98 hours of catering for $1000 from Burger Bonanza and we would get 101 hours of catering for $995.50 from Pizza Palace.
Proposed Plan
I think that the school should get the catering food from Pizza Palace because its cheaper than Burger Bonanza and we get more hours of catering. Pizza Palace only charges $995.50 for 101 hours.

Critical Thinking
I created each equation by taking how much the company charges then multiply that by how many hours are used by the school then add the setup fee (unless there was no setup fee).
There will be a moment when the two companies will have the same cost and its at $4,300.
If the budget was $750 then the school would only be able to have 10 hours from Hoppin' Around and 12 hours from Jumpin' Jacks
Proposed Plan
I think that the school should go with Jumpin Jacks for the bounce house because the school will get more hours of fun. Jumpin' Jacks only charges $750 for 12 hours.
