If so The Explorations in Citizen Leadership Program Is Calling You!
The program format is not traditional! It is designed for immigrant women and men (Refugee, TFW, PR and Canadian citizen Status) of all ages, who want more engagement in the decisions impacting them as citizens in their communities.The Explorations in Citizen Leadership Program
- You will be engaged, not just taught.
- You will acquire new perspectctives on leading as a citizen.
- You will meet and make connectctions with other emerging leaders.
- You will gain skills to take action leading to positive change.
As a group, all program participants will contribute to each others’ learning, and help create the environment needed to explore effectively:
Leadership Program at a glance...
- Weekly three-hour sessions running from October 2013 to May 2014
- Weekly assignment
- Full-day Saturday Retreat:Opening retreat (October 2013) & Closing Retreat (May 2014)
- Pilot program of 12 participants
- Learning groups of five to seven people for key activities
- Cost $1500 (bursaries are available)

Come join us for a presentation on ANIW's The Explorations in Citizen Leadership Program. This event is for potential participants to get more information on the program design, delivery and goals. This program encompasses developing transferable skills to all aspects of life and to any discipline that include career development, skills development, management or executive leadership.
