Washington Mission

The Washington Community works together to create a safe environment where students grow academically, socially and emotionally to become lifelong learners.

Morning Drop-Off Procedures

During Level 3 - Hybrid Learning, Washington will be using different doors to allow students to enter the building. Please use these doors to help maintain social distancing.

Kindergarten - Door 13 (southwest)

Grade 1 - Door 13 (southwest)

Grade 2 - Door 14 (main entrance)

Grade 3 - Door 3 (east)

Grade 4 - Door 2 (northeast)

Grade 5 - Door 1 (northwest)

There is no supervision in the mornings until the doors unlock at 8:25 AM. Please do not send your child to school early.

Likewise, there is no after school supervision. Students are expected to go home or to daycare after school to check in.

If Children choose to return to play on the neighborhood playground, we ask that you not return until after 2:30 PM during Level 3 - Hybrid Learning.

This allows us to make sure all students have followed through with their expected after-school plan.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences have been scheduled for the fall. Conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 13 and Thursday, October 15 between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00 pm each evening. Conferences will be virtual and you will receive a link via email to sign up for your student's conference. The classroom teacher will email you a Zoom meeting invite for your scheduled conference. Please click on the link below to sign-up for ONE conference time slot for your child.

Important Notice

Please do not use the front walk as a turn around when arriving at school. We have many families dropping off students. Take the extra moment and approach from the south to ensure a safe drop off at school.

Absences and Tardy

Parents, please call the school if your child is going to be absent or late for classes. This saves us time, as we must account for each child each morning. Our attendance number is 701-446-5406.

Is your family living in any of the following?

  • A shelter, motel, car or campground
