💻Students will find all their lessons and assignments on their teacher's eCLASS page and/or Google Classroom.
💻Learning will be asynchronous, meaning students will not have live Zoom or Google Meet sessions.
💻Chromebooks will be sent home with students in 2nd – 5th grade (unless the parent signed the opt-out form). For students in Kindergarten and 1st grade, parents should complete the form that was emailed last week to request that a device be sent home. This form should have been filled out and returned to your child's teacher by Sept 14th.

Save-the-Date- Digital Learning Day (DLD), September 16th for all GCPS Students.
- Meals will be prepped for bus delivery. Buses will follow middle school routes.
- Both breakfast and lunch will be offered.
- Buses will begin delivery around 10:45-11:00 A.M.
FDES invites families to attend our Parent Workshop Series to hear from teachers and administrators on how you can best support students! We look forward to seeing you Sept. 27th! AM and PM Sessions Available!
Please donate food items to our Friday Night Food Fight (Mill Creek vs. Parkview)! All items go to families in need. Please send your items Monday! We are keeping track of grade levels with the most donations! The winning grade level will have bragging rights!
AKS at Home - New Sessions for September 2022
As part of Gwinnett County Public Schools’ family engagement initiative, the school district seeks to empower parents with tools that allow them to help their children at home. Our AKS at Home project provides math and language arts resources to support families so that they truly are partners in their children’s learning. This support is available for families to access in the format that fits them and their schedule best. They can attend live virtual meetings, view recorded information at a time that best fits their schedule, or gain tips and suggestions on how to best help their students through tip sheets on a wide variety of topics.

When you donate your time, talents and resources to our PTA, we are able to offer academic and social opportunities that may not otherwise be able to take place. Through our combined efforts, we help model the importance of education, community involvement, and working together for our Simpson Superstars!
The Fort Daniel Elementary PTA is a volunteer organization comprised of Parents, Teachers, and School Administrators. We can best achieve our mission and the goals surrounding it with the collective efforts of each and every Fort Daniel parent.
Our focus for this year are grants for teachers for enrichment in the classroom as well as repaving our playground track. We need monetary donations to fund these goals and our usual programs. Here are just some of the events and items provided to Fort Daniel Elementary made possible by your time, talent, and resources:

Please support your child's school and PTA initiatives by becoming an active member. PTA Membership is $5.00. Our goal for this year is 100% participation from our families. We want each and every student represented!
