YOUR PTA DOLLARS AT WORK!
THANK YOU to Michael Piccuirro for running a fabulous Elementary STEAM night this week! Our students had a blast experimenting and learning about STEAM careers!
Many thanks to Megan Scanielo who acted as our Skate Night chair. It was a great night out for our Middle School students!!
ELEMENTARY ART NIGHT - RSVP due by TONIGHT!
Please join us on April 13th for Elementary Art Night (Grades 3-5)! There will be two seatings for Art night; 6-6:45 and 7-7:45, please sign up for one below. The students will have an amazing opportunity to leave their permanent mark on an OAS art installation. They will be creating personalized tiles inspired by their favorite book to be installed as a permanent hallway mosaic. This is now a Parent/Child event. Please join your child for Art Night, and visit the OAS Book Fair that will also be going on that evening. RSVP by TONIGHT, 4/3.
Scholastic Book Fair
This year ALL payments at the Book Fair will be made virtually using Scholastic's e-wallet option or via credit cards (adult cardholders only). Cash and checks will not be accepted. To set up your student's e-wallet today, please visit: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/orangeavenueschool4.
Scholastic e-wallets must be set up prior to visiting the book fair NO CASH/CHECKS will be accepted. The only way for a student to pay at the book fair is with the e-wallet.
The Scholastic Book Fair is returning to OAS and will be held on April 12-14th in the media center! All students will visit the Book Fair with their classes based on the schedule attached (middle schoolers will visit with their language arts classes). PLEASE NOTE: there have been a few changes to the schedule since it was first released.
The Book Fair will also be open during Art Night on April 13, for any parents who would like to shop. Shoppers on Art Night will receive a free Scholastic tote bag with their purchases.
To make the Book Fair a success, we need the support of parent volunteers. Please use the SignUp Genius below to sign up for a short volunteer shift, either during school or Art Night.
