Farmers Needed!

Our school is applying for a Monsanto grant to purchase math & science items. We receive points for each farmer that nominates our school. Their definition of a farmer is someone who has a minimum of 250 acres of corn, soybeans, and/or cotton, or 40 acres of open field vegetables, or at least 10 acres of vegetables grown in protected culture.

Follow the link below to help our school. (The farmer does not need to live in Kingsbury County so share the link with family and friends around the United States!) Nominations must be entered by April 1st. Please help us spread the word!

We are excited to be hosting Camp Invention again this summer! We are working on securing local sponsors to greatly decrease the camp costs. To receive the discounted rate, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER YOUR CHILD ONLINE. We will have registration at the Spring Fling/Book Fair on April 17th!

In the KartWheel™ module, children let their engineering skills glide them across the finish line as they build, enhance and upgrade their very own freestyle racing cart. Boys and girls will explore what it means to prototype a product from scratch as they become an entrepreneur during the Design Studio: Illuminate module. In the I Can Invent: Next Level Gamers™ module, participants will take apart broken or unused appliances using real tools to create a physical video game model in the 3rd dimension! Finally, in the Inducted™ module, personalized video challenges from National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees are introduced along with hands-on activities like constructing super-structure mega-towers, assembling out-of-this-world space rockets and so much more!

Invite family and friends to attend this year's camp - they may register online at campinvention.org. Here's a video showing a glimpse of the activities!
