In order to maintain compliance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), Monomoy Regional School District does NOT ALLOW the use of student-owned personal computers (laptops, tablets, etc.) on the district network. Non-school issued devices also pose a network security risk, as well as digital equity issues, and device monitoring issues. Any student found using their personal computing device on the district network will face disciplinary action and possible confiscation of the personal device with return of the device to their parent. All students are given a school-issued Chromebook to be used in the classroom for educational purposes.

Please send any items to school for the collection bins next to the library or cafeteria. Interact Club students will deliver the items in January for the next "Street Reach" breakfast/shopping event on January 24 for the area homeless population. Thank you for your generosity.

Athletics Weekly Summary
Written by: Emma Santoni
Friday, November 15th, football lost to Carver 35-12. Noah Concordia ran 30 yards to the endzone to make the first touchdown for the Sharks. Noah went on to run 100 additional yards carrying the ball 12 times in the game. The second touchdown was scored in the third quarter after a 30 yard pass to Elijah Beasley he ran it in from 2 yards out. Tyler Potter had an interception and a 45 yard kickoff return. There was some strong defense by Justin Sneed, Marc Chery, Joe Malone and, Jordan Charlot. This was an improvement from the beginning of the season.
Boys Soccer got the Sportsmanship Award from the Cape and Islands Officials. The officials vote on what team they think has the best sportsmanship. Field hockey got the Sportsmanship Award from the MIAA. The sportsmanship award is given to the team that the MIAA think shows the best sportsmanship. Both the boys soccer and field hockey team showed honesty, respect, and class throughout the season. These teams worked hard all season and represented Monomoy in the best way. They also had two League MVP’s in Caroline DiGiavanni and A.J. Williams.
Wednesday night, November 27th, our annual Thanksgiving Football Game took place on home turf. Monomoy won 19-6 to end their season. Despite the rain and wind the alumni came back and cheered the boys on from the sideline. Senior Zach Parker ran a 67-yard touchdown to put the Sharks on the board, Graham Papenfuhs followed with a successful extra point kick. Senior Elijah Beasley scored the next 2 touchdowns for the Sharks. In between Beasley’s touchdowns senior David Malone had a game-changing interception that would lead the Sharks to their next touchdown. An additional interception by David Malone sealed the deal for the victorious Sharks.
