Back in Business!
Our virtual students who want to return to in-person learning will be joining us on Monday, October 12th. Please be sure to notify the school if you plan for your child to return. If you have an in person student that would like to go virtual please email me at charitybarton@dadecs.org.
Fall break is quickly approaching (10/8-10/9) and we have already seen fantastic growth in our Yellow Jackets! The greatest impact you can have on your student is reading with them for twenty minutes every night. We are kicking off a 'Reading Marathon' with Malcolm Mitchell's foundation on Tuesday, October 6th. Each student will have 26.2 days to read for 850 minutes! That will take stamina but it can be done and every Yellow Jacket who finishes the marathon will receive a medal! Be sure to have your student complete their reading log daily.
Thank you for your continued support!
