News From Telegraph Intermediate
Where did 2018 go? Wow, first semester flew by faster than I ever remember in my last fourteen years! I hope everyone enjoyed winter break and took advantage of some extra time at home with family and friends. The students were welcomed back with the red carpet! We celebrated coming back to school kicking off the new year by setting goals to finish strong!
Here is a look from the month December:
*PTO and Boosters hosted another wonderful Night with Santa that allowed families to kick off the holiday season with free games, crafts, and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.*Over 115 students we eligible for the Sky Zone Field Trip, thanks to the PTO fundraiser. It was one of the most successful years of the fundraiser to date.
*Mrs. Krusemark treated the Fountainbleau Residents with Christmas Cheer by the Telegraph Choir.
*Jefferson County Shop with a Cop invited 30 Jefferson R-VII students to participate in a $100 shopping spree at Walmart.
*We ended our month with Winter Parties, Dress Up Days, Buddy Time, and a little fun with our teacher challenge at the close out of the semester assembly.
*JHS Choir Caroled the halls of Telegraph Intermediate prior to us departing on December 19.

Notes from Nurse Mandy:
- Students will go outside if the windchill is above 32 degrees. Please send in coats, hats, gloves to ensure they are prepared for the winter temperatures.
- Breakfast is an important meal, students are asked to be engaged in learning for several hours in the morning. A healthy breakfast will help them to stay focused.
- All classrooms have snack time, please remember to send a snack and bottled water with your child each day.
