Worth A Watch

This was attached to your Early Release agenda last week. If you didn't get to watch it, please do! It's well worth it! What are you and your team doing to incorporate more Quadrant D learning opportunities for students? What will have the greatest impact on our students and their learning? WE WILL!!!!
Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships Celebration of Success

Rigor and Relevance

Remember to look for ways to stretch students to do more cognitive heavy lifting. We don't want students stuck on an escalator!

How are you adjusting questioning to stretch students to use their higher levels of thinking? How are you letting students work through the discomfort of not having only one answer or only one way to do something?

How are you framing learning for students to make it relevant? Are you asking students to tell you how they can connect their learning to other concepts within a discipline or across disciplines?

When given the time to reflect and discuss, what connections are students making between current learning and previous learning? between current learning and the "real world"?
