Scholastic Dino-Mite Book Fair
The Book Fair was a huge success! Our sales totaled just over $19,000 for the 7 days. Just a reminder that the online book fair is open through Monday, March 18.
We would like to thank the following people for helping make this an outstanding school and family event:
Rachael Paden, Valerie DeBruin, and Jennifer Finnell for running the fair, and collecting and counting all of the coins for the All for Books Coin Drive. We were able to sponsor 63 students this year which is significantly more than in recent years. We were also able to provide books for each teacher's classroom library.
Mrs. Fry and Mrs. Roberts for allowing us to use the Media Center during the event.
Ms. Juanita Wilkerson and the Cafeteria Staff for providing the wonderful Dino Eggs & Sausage Breakfast.
Mr. Stern, Mr. Rob, and Mr. Henry for helping move the furniture in the Media Center and hanging the posters.
Mrs. (& Mr.) Stepnoski for allowing us to borrow the dinosaur costume.
Numerous parent volunteers for helping with set-up, during the fair, and clean-up.
And finally, our 5th Grade students who helped the younger students fill our their wish lists.
We had a very successful event because of our amazing school staff and volunteers!
