Sketchnotes
Why Sketchnotes?
You will remember something better if you think of it in images and words.
#ReadSketchThink
Drawing and doodling an keep us from daydreaming and help us to focus on the task at hand. Listening or reading with pencil in hand leads to a 29% better memory recall.
When the need to understand is high, sketch!
here are some ideas that were shared!
-Give the students a 3x2 graphic organizer, and sketch something from every chapter in each box. Students will then find a partner to review the book based solely on the sketchnotes.
-Give the students a copy of text or poem and some butcher paper. They will sketch together as they are reading.
