Want to make a difference in the lives of children in CB?
Bridge Valley Elementary in Furlong is looking for parents who are interested in full time employment as Personal Care Assistants for students with autism. Personal Care Assistants are paired with specific students and work as part of a team of staff members in special education classrooms. This fulltime position offers employees with competitive pay and full benefits that include healthcare and prescription coverage. Bridge Valley is looking for individuals eager to work with children and collaborate as a part of a team. If you are interested in making a difference, email Mr. Kevin Cochran at kcochran@cbsd.org. Please introduce yourself, include your resume, and tell him you are a CB elementary school parent or guardian. We look forward to hearing from you!
Laptop Breakage
We have seen a rise in the amount of screen breaks for student laptops. Our policy covers for 2 broken screens per device. If your child’s laptop screen breaks 3 times, we will be required to send you an invoice for the repair and labor. The current cost for this is $200. Please remind your child to care for their laptops. Some simple steps to assist are:
- Use two hands when holding or moving the device.
- Use clean hands while using the laptop or iPad.
- Use only the provided digital pen or finger on the screen.
- Use only the power adapter that came with the device.
- Use a microfiber cloth to clean the screen.
- Keep device stored in the provided case. This includes traveling through the hallways, on buses, or anytime the device is not being utilized.
- Make sure nothing is on the keyboard, close the lid, and remove all cables if any are plugged into the laptop. Place laptop in your bag carefully.
- Be careful when placing your case on the floor. Keep the device off the floor so screens do not get stepped on by others.

American Education Week - November 14th to November 18th
American Education Week is an opportunity to visit your child’s classroom and watch your children in action as they learn something new, participate in a curricular activity, or give a special presentation for visitors. This year, Central Bucks School District invites you to join us the week of November 14-18, 2022.
We invite you to come and join us, remembering that cell phone use while in the school is not permitted, and that this is an “adults only” visit as small children may disrupt instruction during this time.
The chart below provides the designated time to come and visit so that we may concentrate efforts, and accommodate parking, traffic flow, etc. Please RSVP here so that we may plan accordingly for your arrival.

Titus History Club
The Titus History Club would like to thank two staff members who were guest speakers the past two weeks. Mrs. Zonis shared some genealogy research from her family which kicked off our family history project. And Mrs. Bryne gave a presentation on the veterans in her family. Club members were able to look at uniforms, medals, a bugle, and a helmet from World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War. Both speakers encouraged club members to talk to family members (especially older ones) and find out their family's history.
Lost and Found
A special thank you to three of our 6th grade students who helped Mrs. Pustay neatly fold and organize all of the lost and found items. Thank you so much for your help!
