From Dr. Gruman
Dear Northwest Families,
We are very proud of our fall sports teams and how they represented our school. We are excited to host the Northwest Area Choral Festival this evening in our auditorium. It was so wonderful to see all of the students at Northwest for their rehearsal this morning!
We continue to enjoy creating meaningful and exciting learning opportunities for our students. I would like to take a moment to share an area of need for us. We have two openings at Northwest for educational aides supporting our students in our English Language Learner (ELL) program. These positions may work well for families with elementary age students who may be looking for a role in education that would fit their child’s school schedule. These positions may be of interest to recent graduates or others considering a potential career in education. If you know someone with an interest, please guide them to visit our SMSD website and job opportunities under the Human Resources tab to find these openings or call our main office to speak directly with an administrator.
Have a wonderful weekend!
All the best,
Dr. Lisa Gruman
