Welcome to the 20-21 School Year!
We are so excited about what lies ahead in our next year at Cypress Creek...our 4th year of existence, and our 1st as a HIGH SCHOOL ONLY! We hope you have a relaxing summer, and come back recharged and ready to help our Coyotes achieve our mission to H.O.W.L.

Coyote Core Plus Explanation
Coyote Core Plus is a an intervention period built into each day of the school year. Each day during CC+, students will be required to attend CC+ by period. This period is used for
The first two weeks of Semester 1 and Semester 2, all students are required to report to their CC+ according to the schedule.

School Hours- 7:00am- 3:30pm

YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT WHAT YOU ARE ADDING SAYS “CALENDAR” AFTER IT…OTHERWISE IT WON’T BE THE ACTUAL CALENDAR!!!

CCHS Staff Calendar - internal staff calendar - drills, meetings
CCHS Athletics Calendar - all athletic events & practices

*All of these calendars are view only and are populated by “Activities Requests” when submitted and approved.
** The Activities & Fundraising, Activities, and Athletics Calendars are all Public calendars.

Google Voice Account & Email Summer Action Required
- Update your voicemail message
- Send calls to voicemail
- Update their automatic reply in Office 365.
Sample messages for staff not working in the summer:
For Google Voice:
Hello, you've reached [your name and title]. I'm currently out of the office for the summer until August 3. In the meantime, please direct all phone calls to the school office at 813-346-4400. Thanks, and I'll see you in August!"
For Office 365/Outlook:
Thank you for your email. I am out of the office for the summer break, and will not be checking email messages during this time. I am scheduled to return to work on Monday, August 3, and will begin responding to messages after that date.
School and district offices will begin summer operations after June 1, and some school staff will work throughout the summer. Please contact the school directly for assistance during the summer break at 813-346-4400.

Canvas Course Blueprint
Whatever you create in the blueprint course can later be pushed out to your courses for the 2020-2021 school year.
If you already have a blueprint course from the 2019-2020 school year, you can utilize that course.
If you would like some ideas/ additional on how to set up your own canvas course you can also email Ariel Manning to set up a meeting.

Face-to-Face or Virtual, We’ve Got Your Back!
New Teacher Induction event is coming July 27 through July 31!
All new teachers will engage in learning around:
- Processes, procedures, and systems
- How to create compassionate classrooms and work with content specialists to learn about curricular resources
- The importance of self-awareness, time management, and first year teacher survival skills

We know how much we all enjoy a full inbox (cue laughter), so in lieu of numerous emails during the week from several different administrators, we work to put information that is necessary to communicate to the entire staff into The Howler Hub.
All we ask is that you read it each Friday and take any actions requested in a timely fashion!

Coyote Voice
Our “Voice & Choice” link is in each edition of The Howler Hub. This serves as a way that anyone can communicate a question, concern, idea, suggestion, etc…to administration. All we ask is that you provide your name so that we can work with you and ensure that you know that your voice is being heard!
Phone List
Our phone is list constantly updating and is a live document. We suggest bookmarking it do its easily accessible. You can also view planning period, department lists and lists for instructional vs non-instructional. This list also contains lunch periods, and denotes your evaluating administrator!

Coyote Staff Introduction
Badge Request for In-County
If you are not new to the county, you will need to request a new ID badge in order to access the elevator and inside doors.
Click here for instructions to request a new badge This can be done anytime.
Car Tag Parking Form
Please fill out this form to receive a Staff Parking tag! This is required to park at CCHS!
Need a Substitute?
ACTION REQUIRED:
If you brand new you will need to call and register first. The phone number is (813) 773-1490. You will need to know your employee ID and the pin is the last 4 of your social.
If you have a planned absence or district training you will need to complete two steps:
1) Complete the Leave Request Form (it will be in the requests section of sharepoint).
2) Once you receive confirmation from your administrator put in for a sub in SmartFind
and email the job code to Hannah Hall (hhall@pasco.k12.fl.us) .
If you have an emergency last minute reason to for substitute
1) Put in for a substitute as soon as possible in SmartFind.
2) Email Julissa Fernandez at jufernan@pasco.k12.fl.us
COMP TIME
Throughout the year you will have opportunities to earn COMP time. COMP time cannot be used during student hours. If you plan to use comp time please select it on the leave request form and turn in your comp time slips in your administrators mailbox.
