@samgliksman Communication Keynote
The crux of Mr Gliksmas's keynote was: How can we express knowledge effectively so that it is clearly communicated and acquired by others?
He talked all about how technology has changed communication since the beginning of time (just think about the introduction of the printing press) and we are simply living in a time where it is changing very rapidly.
One example of this new form of expression:
My Digital Story
What makes effective communication?
Creating quality media doesn't happen spontaneously! Good media production requires a lot of prep and guidance.
ALWAYS start with a storyboard
- green screen
- stop motion
- RSA animation
Aurasma
We also learned about an app called Aurasma. You and your students can create augmented reality experiences.
Some examples are:
- library tours
- outside of classrooms documenting learning
- tours of the school
Focus on the goal not the technology
