Book Fair
A Book Fair flyer was sent home Friday, September 27th. This is an advertisement (not an order form) to show books that will be available at the Book Fair. 100% of the money collected goes back to the teachers to stock their classroom libraries with new books from the Book Fair. The class that raises the most money for the coin challenge gets an extra $25 for their teacher to spend at the Book Fair! Check out the flyer below to find out what’s going on each day that week. Keep an eye out for more updates on our PTG Facebook page and for posters around the school!
There is a NEW payment option for parents called eWallet that allows parents to add money to their child’s account for the child to purchase books at the Book Fair if the parent cannot come with them. Scholastic also offers online shopping with over 6,000 products that ship directly to home (with free shipping on book-only orders of $25 or more!). Visit our homepage www.scholastic.com/bf/tiffin for information on eWallet, online shopping, and more updates!
Supporting a love for reading is critical to student success. The Scholastic Book Fair encourages your child's reading habits, builds their personal libraries and raises funds for the school, all at the same time. We hope to see you there!

Park Road Closures!!! Started 9/20/19
Rathje Construction will be closing N. Park Road 9/20/19.
The Road closure will begin at 6:00PM on Friday, September 20th. This closure will be longer, lasting for approximately three weeks. This closure will remove the existing pavement on N. Park Road and install part of the circular section of the roundabout pavement as well as the entry and exit lanes on N. Park Road. All traffic to and from the schools will be routed on Croell Avenue, north to Oakdale Boulevard, then east to Park Road. Large message boards will be set up on September 13th to inform the passing public of this closure.
Both closures are subject to weather conditions. If weather delays the start of the closures, they will be postponed until the following weekend. Weather delays during the closures may cause the closures to be extended past the anticipated reopening dates. Please help inform everyone so we can minimize the confusion that these closures will cause.

Important Information
Birthday Rock:
Please help remind our students to NOT climb on our birthday rock. We would hate to have a student get injured.
Shoes That Fit:
Shoes That Fit is a program that is established to help provide shoes or boots to children in need. If your child is in need of shoes or winter boots, and this program would be helpful to you, please contact Brandi Haight at the school.
Halloween Costume Swap: Do you want to get rid of old Halloween costumes that don’t fit the kids and are taking up closet space? Do you want a chance to save some money on Halloween costumes this year? If so, please send any Halloween costumes that you don’t want to school BY MONDAY, October 14th. Then, all costumes will be displayed at school on Tuesday evening, Wednesday afternoon and all day on Thursday (October 15th-17th) during PLPs. You can trade in a costume, or pick one out if that would help. Let’s see how we can help each other and have some fun doing so! If you have questions, please contact Brandi Haight at brandihaight@ccaschools.org or 3195452081 ext. 1827.
