Emergency Evacuation Planning for Students with Disabilities


This session will provide information on key aspects of creating an all hazard emergency plan for students with disabilities. Participants will learn how to create and document appropriate accommodations to support students with varying abilities and needs, how to engage the IEP team in discussion and understanding the responsibility of evacuating and sheltering all students to minimize harm and liability during an emergency.
