Mrs. Bush's Barnard Broadcaster
Week of November 20th-21st
Weekly Highlights
It was also nice to have a bigger turnout for our PTO meeting to hear our superintendent, Dr. Machesky, give his update on the State of the District. Great celebrations to share as well as updates on the Bond and the impact it will have across schools in Troy. The next PTO meeting will be Monday, February 12th.

🧇 Free Breakfast Check In 🧇
Many families are enjoying the opportunity to receive free breakfast this year in Troy. We are so thankful for this opportunity for our students and families. If you would still like to sign up and haven't done so, click here. For those of you that have been enjoying free breakfast, we ask that you take this time to check in with your child to see how they are enjoying the food options. We have noticed that many students are choosing not to eat their breakfast which is resulting in large amounts of food waste. Once we pass out food, we are not allowed to collect it again. Students are also not allowed to turn down food if they signed up for breakfast. Since this is a government funded program, we must follow strict MDE guidelines to stay in compliance. You can help us prevent food waste, by checking in with you child and asking if they are eating breakfast or not. If not, please unenroll them by clicking here. Thank you for your help and partnership in this program.
