Veterans Day Assembly
In honor of Veterans Day, the Huber Street School 4th grade students held an assembly. Thank you to the millions of brave men and women who have served our country, in particular, our honored guests.
The students read "America's White Table" as a symbol for and remembrance to service members fallen, missing, or held captive in the line of duty.
The students also sang two songs; the first of which was an Armed Forces Medley, and the second was "Proud To Be An American."
Thank you to Sergeant (and Secaucus Town Council member,) Bill McKeever for being our keynote speaker; thank you to our local heroes who served our country, and thank you to all veterans for their selfless service to all of us.
Congratulations are in order for Sgt. McKeever; on November 11, 2022, he was named the Secaucus Veteran of the Year for 2022. Congratulations!!!
