These emails are individualized for each family, so please make sure to check your inbox for instructions and your child's unique code/profile.
Attire Fittings: Help Needed!
We need help with concert attire fittings during band classes on Friday, October 13th. Please sign up for a time(s) below and plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time(s) to assist with setup. Parents can opt to sign up for as many time slots as desired!
TIMES: 9:55-10:40 AM (CB2) / 12:06-1:02 (SW) / 1:06 - 1:51 (Jazz) / 1:55 - 2:40 (CB1)
Parent helpers will:
Communicate with directors to keep the line of students moving throughout the class period.
Assist the tailor with giving sizes to students / might need to assist in picking trial sizes
Keep trial attire organized (make sure clothing is returned to hangers and put back on rack)
Assist with getting students in and out of fitting rooms
*The jazz band slot is for overflow and will only need one helper.
Shirt and Hoodie Update
Our order was on track to arrive early, but was delayed due to an error from the manufacturing company. We anticipate another 2 weeks of wait time while corrections are made. As soon as the corrected shirts arrive we will send out an email to all families and send items home with students.
Prosper ISD Bond Proposal
Last day to register to vote in the upcoming elections: October 10 (next Tuesday!)
Prosper ISD will be putting forth a bond proposal in the upcoming elections! Parts of this bond will impact Reynolds band students. The bond will include construction of a new band hall and repurposing the existing band hall to construct a new choir/art/theatre space at Reynolds. Please visit the link below for all bond-related information and important FAQ. We encourage all of our band families to go vote this November!
The passage of all 4 of the proposed bonds would not increase the district's current tax rate! More info can be found on the district bond website linked below.
π π¬PISD Band Trunk or Treat *UPDATED!* π¬ π
Every year, PBBC hosts a Trunk or Treat for Reynolds and PHS band students. This year, they are hoping to make it a district-wide event for all PISD band students!
The details are in! Please see below:
Parents can opt to either actively participate in the Trunk or Treat (decorate your car and hand out candy!) or can opt to donate candy to the cause.
Setup: Begins at 5:00 PM at the stadium (on the visitor side, by the scoreboard). Parents can then enter the stadium to enjoy the PISD Band Night show!
For questions: Please reach out to the Trunk or Treat organizer directly:

RESOURCES
PRIVATE LESSONS
Access at reynoldsband.com/lessons
Private lessons are a vital part of any successful band program and are what make the Reynolds band students really great musicians! Prosper ISD bands are very fortunate to have a staff of incredibly highly qualified teachers that have been vetted by the same intensive processes as all Prosper ISD school teachers. We very highly recommend that any and all band students enroll lessons offered through the Reynolds Band. Additionally, most students who take lessons from Reynolds lesson staff are able to take lessons during band class!
Clarinet, saxophone, percussion, and trumpet families: Due to the high demand of last year's groups, we have hired additional staff for these instruments to make sure that all students who want lessons can take lessons! However, these sections tend to fill up FAST - we highly recommend signing up sooner than later to ensure a spot in the studio!
For more information about our lesson program, please visit reynoldsband.com/lessons or click the link below to enroll your child in the 2023-2024 Reynolds Band Private Lesson program today!
2023-2024 Band Calendar
The 2023-2024 Reynolds Band Calendar is available in 2 formats: Google Calendar and in spreadsheet format. We recommend subscribing to the Google Calendar as well as printing out a paper copy to keep on the fridge at home! However, please note that the calendar could be updated throughout the year as we are given access to STAAR test dates, etc. We recommend double checking for any calendar changes periodically throughout the year (every month or so is recommended).
If you need a printed calendar, please reach out to your child's director! We are happy to print extras!
