Description:
Primary Sources are the raw materials of history – original documents and objects created at the time under study. Used effectively, primary sources can be powerful tools to help students engage, build critical thinking skills, construct knowledge and develop literacy. This 3 hour workshop combines hands-on activities and access to online materials to help you mesh these important resources into your curriculum. Whether you work independently or collaborate extensively with teachers in your school , we’ll share proven strategies for using primary sources across the curriculum.
