Reminder--Clearance Information for Volunteers
Volunteers must have their clearances on file with the CBSD Human Resources Department prior to starting volunteer work. The new Pennsylvania State mandate does allow until July 1, 2016 to obtain background checks. However, in the best interest of the safety and security of our students, we are asking volunteers to comply with submitting background checks prior to volunteering in the 2015-2016 school year.

A Message from CB West Mini-Thon Student Organizers
This year at C.B West, we have started a Mini Thon. Our Mini Thon supports the Four Diamonds Fund. Four Diamond’s goal is to defeat childhood cancer. On average, 600 kids are given support each year through this fund. 100 are newly diagnosed patients and the other 500 are continuing their battle. The fund was founded in 1972, and since then, Four Diamonds has helped more than 3,600 children at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. We held an event at Panera Bread on Monday, October 5 which raised over $200. Please join us at our next events at UNO’S in Doylestown on October 26 and Chipotle in Doylestown on November 16. Tell your server you are supporting CB West’s Mini-THON and a portion of each bill between 4-8pm will be donated to Four Diamonds Fund. We really look forward to helping defeat childhood cancer by raising as much money as possible for Four Diamonds!
