Dear Parents and Students of the Class of 2019,
We are looking forward to seeing you all at graduation next week!
A few important reminders:
- Tuesday, June 25th: All graduating seniors must attend the graduation rehearsal ceremony at 8:45 AM so that we may begin at 9:00 AM sharp in our main gym.
- Caps & Gowns: Student accounts must be cleared of all financial obligations in order to receive a cap and gown. Payments can be made at graduation rehearsal if there is still a balance due.
- Wednesday, June 26th: Graduates must arrive at the CURE Insurance Arena by 9:30 AM.
- Parking/Tickets at Graduation: Parents and guests can park in Gate C-Lot 1 or Gate A-Lot 2 and all guests will be admitted to the ceremony by ticket only. The doors to the arena will be open to the public at 9:30 AM.
- Senior Graduates and Attire: Students are required to dress appropriately, even though they are wearing graduation gowns. Jeans, shorts, sneakers, and flip-flops are not acceptable attire. Any student who is dressed inappropriately will not be allowed to participate. Graduates should not bring items such as water bottles, handbags, etc. because there is no security available for these items during the ceremony. Students are not permitted to decorate their cap/gown.
- Graduation is a dignified ceremony that allows the school community to celebrate the accomplishments of our seniors. Students, as well as the audience, are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner; failure to act accordingly will result in removal from the arena. Signs, balloons, banners and air horns are not permitted in the CURE Insurance Arena. Anyone who disrupts the ceremony will be removed from the arena immediately.
If you require further assistance, please contact Emanuel Caravano at: emanuel.caravano@sbschools.org.
Our annual Senior Picnic will be hosted on June 24th 10:00am-1:00pm at Rowland Park (A NEW location). This event is FREE to all graduating Seniors!
