Silk Road Trade Route
Trade is growing!
The silk road was the main trade rout from Eastern Asia to North Africa and every where in between
The silk road carried many items, knowledge, stories, and goods. Places like Africa sold salt, ivory, and gold. While china had things like silk, spices, tea, compass, citrus, printing, and porselian what people sold was different where the place was that's why Africa sells lots of gold because its plentiful there, Europe had lots of wine and grapes because they grew a lot there. This is why i think that trade in the middle ages is more positive than negitive
This show how long the silk road is
Because they length of the trip it was often passed on from seller to seller which also gave stories and lessons from seller to seller. The price was often added to every time it was sold a good could start and 5 dollars then bought for ten then fifteen then twenty till it was not sold anymore.
From compasses to silk
Another reason the silk road had a good reason is that, the items sold had lots of range. things like camels, live stock, and horses were sold but they also had things like silk gold and ivory which were very precious items then. That range meant items from india that cannot be produced some were else could be sold to that other place this gave those places. Silk when the chinese would not let it grow other places and all the trade gave people thins that they needed without having to take the life threatening journey across land and sea.
Diversity
It also gave diversity people from all over the world were bound to have different belifes so these people came and told stories of the religion. People would come and show there practices which lead to better understanding and even appreciation of these other religions.
Conclusion
In all I think that the silk road had a good impact on the world of trade today people still trade things needed by places that can't produce them they still have a large range of items and in many other ways the silk road change the way we trade today.
