Mrs. Cribb's McLaurin Update

November 12, 2020

Thank you for your continued support of your child and McLaurin. I have a few important updates to share with you.

  • Next week is American Education Week. Please take the time to recognize your child’s teacher with some words of encouragement and thanks. Our teachers have done an awesome job during some difficult circumstances. Be sure to share some kind words with them.

  • Report Cards will be emailed and mailed to all parents for the first nine weeks. You should expect an email from your child’s teacher next Tuesday. Please be watching for that. The mailed report cards will arrive later next week. No report cards will be sent home with students.

  • Please be reminded that every assignment must be completed and turned in each day. If work is incomplete your child’s report card grades will be lower. This includes assignments in related arts.

  • Attendance is important! Face to face students need to be present at school on their assigned day and all work on the eLearning day must be done for the child to be counted present. Virtual students must be present in class each day and complete all assignments to be counted present. Students with excessive absences can be retained. We want to avoid those problems.

  • Thanksgiving break is November 26-29. Please note that this is a change from our normal break at Thanksgiving.
