SAINT'S SCOOP
St. Martin's Catholic Elementary School - June 26, 2020
Thank you for a Great Year!
Dear St. Martin's families,
What an interesting year it has been-full of obstacles and challenging transitions for students, staff and families. It is definitely not the ending or closure we wanted but rather, our current reality. Nevertheless-congratulations on another successful school year. You made it!! We wish all of our families a wonderful summer full of new memories and fun. We look forward to the Fall where we are hopeful we will see all of you again September 1st-our first day back for 2020-2021.
Our staff will spend our last week deliberating and planning for our Fall re-entry back to school. As you know, we will plan under the advice of our Chief Medical Officer and guidance of EICS. The Ministry and our school division have provided guidelines for re-entry for all 3 scenario's and we will continue to work through this as a staff planning specifically for St. Martin's. As always, the safety of our students will ultimately guide our decisions. Our protocols will be clearly communicated to our families prior to our return in September. Please watch for a newsletter in late Summer as we know more.
Mrs. Sorochan and I are thrilled to be returning for our 3rd year together as your Leadership team for 2020-2021! We are also very excited about our staff next year as there has been some changes. We wish those who are moving on from St. Martin's the very best.
May God bless all of our families during summer break.

Greetings to all of our St. Martin’s Families!
As we enter into the lazy days of summer , I hope your focus turns to filling your bucket with all that brings you joy. There are many opportunities in the weeks ahead to explore beautiful areas around our community and our province with family and friends. These past months have been so challenging and now is the time to breathe deeply, relax, and sink into those things that will recharge your batteries and lift you up.
Thank you for all the support you have given to your children during these past few months and I look forward to seeing them in September!
God bless you,
Mrs. Kathleen Bohaychuk

Weekly Prayer
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you that you are so near us and that we may be near you. We thank you that throughout our days we may be people who listen to you with all our hearts and minds, a listening people who can receive what is good and true for our lives and who can witness to the power you give us through the Savior. Protect us in all things. Look into our hearts and into the situation of each one of us, where many things are still faulty and unclear. Deliver us from evil, for the kingdom shall be yours. From you the power shall come. Your glory shall radiate from our lives, and we shall praise and thank you forevermore. Amen.
