IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR AP TEST TAKERS
PLEASE READ, REVIEW, AND FOLLOW THESE STEPS...

- IMPORTANT - Please also plan ahead with your 5th and/or 6th period teachers if there is a conflict with your testing time and that class.

4.) FOR DIGITAL TESTING ON YOUR COMPUTER OR SCHOOL CHROMEBOOK
- The App is called 2021 Digital AP Exams
- For your test(s) you will use what is called the "Lockdown Browser" (info below)
- Review the instructions and information here
- If you are using a personal computer use - download the Digital testing app... OR...
- If you are using a SVUSD Chromebook - the district has downloaded it for you (you should see it under the Apps icon your bottom toolbar/dock)
- (Note: SVUSD can only provide technical support for SVUSD Chromebooks. For any questions regarding your SVUSD Chromebook, contact IT Support here.)

- It is strongly recommend that students do digital practice before exam day.
In the 2021 DIGITAL AP EXAMS APP you can access these:
- You will see each type of multiple-choice and/or free-response question on their exam.
- You will get to preview the pre-exam steps (exam setup and check-in), as well as the directions, screens, tools, features, and reminders they’ll see on exam day.
- Completing a practice experience also helps confirm before exam day that their testing technology, including any approved assistive technology, works as expected.

TO DO: 3 Days Before Your Exam(s)
- Three days before each of your tests, you’ll run through exam setup in the app where you’ll confirm some information about yourself and your device.
- You must complete exam setup for every digital AP Exam you take, and it’s critical that you complete this step before test day.
- For assistance, speak to your AP teacher or Mr. Dobson
TO DO: DAY OF DIGITAL EXAM(s)
- 30 minutes before your exam’s start time, you’ll launch the app and check in for your exam.
- You’ll review some privacy policies, type a security statement, and get ready to test.
- It’s important that you check in on time.
- IMPORTANT: You won’t be able to check in once your exam starts (See the start times on the schedule. BE 30 MINUTES EARLY.)

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR AP SPANISH, FRENCH, AND GERMAN:
- You will test on campus on May 21st.
- Your tests will take 2-3 hours. Special rooms will be set up for your testing.
- Language tests are done in traditional paper/book format with voice recording portions
- Arrive at school 30 minutes before the start of the test.
- Bring No. 2 pencils
- No electronic devices allowed in the room
- Masks will be required
- Bring water with your name on it (We will store it for you until break)
You will arrive at specific times to designated spaces on campus. Information will be sent to you by your teachers/Mr. Dobson regarding these instructions.
- Spanish: 7:30am arrival
- French: 11:30am arrival
- German: 11:30 am arrival

IMPORTANT: TESTING IN LOCK DOWN MODE
Right before the exam begins, the app will lock your computer to insure test security. You’ll need to close all other applications before testing begins.
