Brightspace Pulse App and Puffin
Tools for accessing class on the Go
Finding the app
Purdue Global's learning management system, Brightspace, has far more mobile capabilities than our old learning management system (LMS), eCollege. You can download the Brightspace Pulse app in the iTunes or Android store for free, then select "Purdue University Global" and log in to access your classes. You can read all of the course material and respond to discussion posts, access some of the readings (since iPhones do not play nicely with Flash, the interactive activities and live workshops will probably not work, but PDF files open fine), and take quizzes. Assignments can not be submitted from mobile devices as far as I can tell, though.
Puffin browser
You can also add the Puffin browser to your mobile device or desktop. Several students have mentioned that this browser makes it possible to access seminars from a smartphone or tablet.
