6th Grade Parents – THIS IS NOT A DRILL!! We need all immunizations to be turned into us for your student to attend school in August. We thank the 204 families who have already turned in the records for their students. For the 116 remaining, please get a record turned in as soon as possible. This is still the largest number of incomplete records we have had in the history of Cobb for the end of the 6th grade year. Why wait? Turn those records in within the next two weeks to get that important task off your plate before summer. Please don’t wait for schedule pick-up (or worse the first day of school) to turn those in. Clearing over 100 records will mean very long lines at schedule pick-up. Help us shorten that line, and focus on other tasks to start the school year.
Medication Pickup - Now is the time to pick up any medication your student has in the clinic. All medication has to be picked up by a parent or guardian to follow FISD policy. Any medications not picked up by 4 PM on Friday, June 2, 2017 will be discarded. No medication is stored over the summer to use next year. All medication left is disposed of in sealed containers, so we are not able to retrieve medication should you remember late. Please contact Nurse Hodgkiss at HodgkisK@friscoisd.org or (469) 633-4308 of you have any questions.
Lost Library Books - If you have lost any Cobb library books, you must pay a fee at Funds4Books.com to clear your account. Here's how it works.
Re-Enrollment for 2017-18 - You should have received an email with your student’s snapcode and a link to log into InfoSnap and complete the form. If you have not gotten this email please call Mrs. Meece so your student is able to re-enroll for next year. If you do not plan to return to Cobb or FISD next year please complete a shortened version of the form from the same login. A third of you have submitted your form already in just a week - thank you!
When you are filling out InfoSnap for next year, please be as complete as possible on your child’s health history, including any past conditions, and all medication your student takes on a regular basis. If there is ever an emergency with your student, that information is printed off to go with them to the hospital and should include anything a doctor would need to know about your child if you were not standing there with them. It is very rare that we have had to print off those pages, but being prepared will help the most should an emergency ever happen.
