Our Final Month of School
Happy Mother's Day
I would like to wish all of your families a blessed Mother's Day. I enjoyed a special time with my daughter and her family. I will look forward to seeing my parents later in the week as they travel from California to see my son graduate from Medical School. He is settling in Houston currently and will begin his surgery residency later in June.
The final month of school can get very busy. I do not want the school year to slip by without expressing my gratitude to you as parents for the support you have shown to me as I returned to the classroom in December. Homestead is such a wonderful place to teach and caring, supportive parents like you make it a joy. Thank you for allowing me to teach your child this year. The end of the year is always a bitter, sweet time as they move up to the next grade level. I will share some ways you can help your child as they transition to third grade later in the month.
We are on a 5 day rotation for Specials. Please note that due to holidays it will alter from day to day. This week's schedule is as follows. Our times this week will vary due to STAAR testing.
